Open Heaven 29 January 2020 Wednesday MESSAGE:
Today, I will be focusing on the married. It is sad that many married people are still having crushes with persons apart from their spouses. If there is any fellow aside from your spouse you are admiring unduly, you must see such a person as the devil and get rid of them immediately. One of my sons once told me that he was always excited to resume in the office every Monday because he would get to see his secretary again. I told him to fire her immediately. Nothing and no one is worth your marriage.

What is a married woman doing on the phone with another man for countless minutes? Why would a married man be spending so much time with another man’s wife? Why would you prefer to discuss intimate issues with your “friend” of the opposite sex instead of your God-given spouse? Oh, you may say “I am not doing anything with the fellow; we are just friend.” That is exactly where it starts from. The devil knows you are a Christian and would not fall for someone just like that. So, he makes you become good friends with the fellow and before you know it, you would have fallen. May you not fall for any strategy of the devil in the mighty name of Jesus. If you have any friend that you talk to more than your spouse, break that friendship now. Proverbs 5:18 has this to say:

“Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.”

Spend more time with your spouse and make him/her your confidant. Exchange compliments. The reason many people have crushes outside their marriage is mostly due to a distance between the couple. They no longer communicate as they used to. When they talk, it is only on serious issues about the children or other family needs, instead of talking/gisting about just anything as they used to in the early days of their marriage. They no longer go out to fun places or take walks together except they are going for family functions. If there is no distance between yourself and your spouse, no crush can come between you.

11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.



MESSAGE


For various reasons such as worldliness, the pursuit of pleasure, and the desire for power, wealth, and fame, many Christians all over the world today no longer keep the second coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in focus. His nonchalant attitude coupled with unbelief, is largely responsible for the widespread spiritual decadence in the world and even among Christians today. Jesus knew this would happen when he give us the parable of the king who went to a far country, leaving his servants in charge of his kingdom to occupy till His return (Luke 19:11 27). Although we have waited for so long for His return, I can assure you by the infallibility of God's word that our King is coming soon as He promise. He is coming to judge both the living and the dead. Don't be deceived lies of the Devil or by current developments around the world to conclude that Jesus Christ will not come again. Do not fall for the deceit of those who suggest that he has already come in the Spirit. These are all lies of the Devil. The angels who addressed the early disciples after the ascension of the Lord declared in Acts 1:11:

“Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”


Regardless of whatever anyone has to say about the rapture or the second coming, the truth remains that our Lord Jesus Christ is coming again to put the devil where he belongs. First in the bottomless pit and finally, in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:1, Revelation 20:10). The angel who fell with the Devil after his Rebellion, now known as demons, will also share in his Destiny (Matthew 25:41). Moreover, our King is coming to give reward to do those who belonged to Him according to their works. He said in Revelation 22:12:

“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”


He also declared in Luke 19:27:

“But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.”


Beloved, this will not be your portion in Jesus' Name. However, you must always remember that the King of kings is coming soon. You must also be mindful of what he is coming to do so that you can fully prepare yourself in readiness for His return. Are you ready?

Weigh yourself on the scale of the Word to determine how prepared you are for the Lord’s return

From Pastor E. A. Adeboye. I saw it again. This time more scary. The end-time is more than night. It will happen like a flash unexpected and time shall be no more for repentance.
In my dream, I didn't make it to heaven despite I was saying my last prayer for forgiveness of sins, it was as if God shut his ears.
I saw multitude of people running into a church. But inside that church, screaming and shouting everywhere; people making utterances to heaven.
Behold it was as if a strange spirit entered into some people more clearly, I remember seeing an old man who was beside me whom they said spirit entered into and as he let out a cry, he disappeared and few other people.
At that point, I realised that the rapture has taken place.
I cried the more.
Immediately, the devil took over and started making mockery of the left over Christians.
He had a register of everyone's name...
At this point, I woke up.
The end is more than near.

What breaks my heart the most is that many people in the church will not make it if Jesus
comes now?
Many are unaware that the end is near.
Don't tell me that it's advancement in technology or development.
If any area of your life is not in sync with God's word - Repent
and be converted.
If you miss heaven you can never miss hell...think about it.
Hell is not a pretty place, the worst part is that it is for eternity...

NO MORE COVERING

“And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.” (Judges 6: 1)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Israel was in bondage in the hands of Midian for seven years. One meaning of the word ‘Midian’ is ‘covering’. So Israel was under cover for seven years. A people who should shine like a million stars remained under covering for seven years. A people who ought to be strong and do exploits were under a covering for seven years.

Friend, as September ends, hear God’s prophetic word: there shall be no more covering. Your destiny will not be under any satanic cover; your future will not be covered by the enemy; your business, career, ministry, etc will not be covered by the power of hell; your family will not be covered; your dreams and visions will not be covered; your talents and abilities will not be covered by the enemy.

When a man is covered, he remains in obscurity, he is unable to shine, and he lives life without being noticed by his generation; when your capacity is covered by the enemy, people will see you on daily basis but they won’t notice what you can do; when your destiny is covered, you will remain in hiding.

Today, I tear down every satanic covering over your destiny. The enemy will not keep you in hiding; haters won't keep you in hiding; no conspiracy and no attack of the enemy will cover you; no satanic cloud will reign or prevail over you. If there be a covering over your life already, I command it to end now.

If you are redeemed by the blood of Jesus, then you have no business being under any cover whatsoever. I declare freedom to you: no more covering.

TODAY'S WORD
Everyone goes through seasons in life that seem overwhelming; times when you’ve felt drained of strength and power. But you haven’t been left without hope. You haven’t been left without an answer. The God of heaven and earth is near you, and He promises to give you strength and might to overcome.

Where does this strength and power come from? It comes directly from Him. When you connect with Him, you are connecting to your power source. It’s like plugging a lamp into a light socket. You “plug in” through prayer, reading the Word and worshipping Him. You “turn on” the switch by the words of your mouth—by declaring what God says.

Remember, you don’t have to let the difficult times overwhelm you. Rise up and connect with Him because He is your source of strength! He promises to equip and empower you for victory in every area of your life!

PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Heavenly Father, thank You for Your favour, strength and grace at work in my life. I turn my focus on You today. I turn my thoughts on You. I set my heart and love upon You because You are good. Thank You for filling me with might and power to overcome in Jesus’ name. Amen."
